Understanding view popularity
In the last post we discovered that 6-10 minutes long videos attract the largest number of views overall. And 11-15 minutes long category attracts the largest views per video. However, there is a fundamental flaw in the analysis. Some videos were perhaps, posted earlier and might have attracted more views. So to bring in the element of time, it may be wiser to check views per video per day.
Views per video per day
This is a general indication that higher duration videos attract more views per day. Now that we know this, we can try to figure out how the actual visits per day varies with age of the video in the platform. However, let’s do it in another post.
